Body Butter: all you need to know about the organic cosmetics product Jamalfi
Jamalfi body butter is the ideal organic cosmetic product to maintain a smooth and silky skin.

Jamalfi Organic Olive Oil
It is obtained from the pressing of drupes and it is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and contains a fraction of unsaponifiables very similar to the skin sebum. It carries out a protective, anti-aging and sebum replacement action as well as important actions on skin trophism stimulating reparative processes of epidermis and dermis.
Organic Amalfi Lemon Juice – moisturizing, astringent
Centrifuged from lemons grown in the famous lemon groves of the Amalfi coast, it is rich in a-pinene, b-pi- nene, camphene, sabinene, limonene, alpha- terpinene, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin PP, a mix that gives the juice astringent and hydrating properties. Besides its numerous properties, lemon can be used in cosmetics to tone facial skin, as it is an excellent astringent against oily skin. Plant Squalene – nourishing, moisturizing, protective
In the human body, squalene is one of the most important constituents of sebum, an oily substance that keeps the superficial layer of the epidermis moisturized by slowing the evaporation of water. Sebum, moreover, protects the skin from insults of various nature (detergents, chemical products, microorganisms, solar radiations etc.). Since with the passing of the years the sebaceous production of the skin is reduced, the use of ad hoc supplements and topical applications based on squalene can help to mitigate the signs of aging. Squalene also has a valuable emollient and nourishing activity, which contributes to the prevention of wrinkles and skin dryness.
Organic Shea Butter – emollient, nourishing
Totally natural ingredient, chemically composed of a high fraction of triglycerides (stearic 37%, oleic 49%), with emollient, moisturizing and regenerating properties of the skin barrier. Thanks to the presence of a high proportion of unsaponifiable fraction, rich in terpenic alcohols (karitene) and in smaller quantities of phytosterols, it is a valuable natural anti-wrinkle and anti-aging ingredient for face and body, able to give the skin firmness and elasticity. Shea Butter also contains tocopherols (vitamin E), which act as natural antioxidants.
Vegetable Glycerin – moisturizing
It is of vegetable origin, is natural and 100% biodegradable. It is strongly hygroscopic, therefore able to absorb moisture in the air, regardless of the variation of atmospheric humidity conditions. By virtue of its moisturizing, lubricating and emollient capacities towards the skin, and thanks to its high skin tolerability, glycerine is widely used.
Jamalfi Lemon Liposomes
Liposomes are microscopic spheres formed by alternating layers of fat and water, into which various substances can be integrated. The outer layers of the liposome have a remarkable affinity for plasma membranes, because they follow their natural composition (they contain natural phospholipids such as phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine and cholesterol esters). In this way, the water-soluble substances contained within the liposomal microspheres can be easily transported into the cells. Prickly Pear Oil – nourishing, emollient
Opuntia Ficus Indica, this is its original name, is a plant native to Mexico and was already commercialized at the time of the Aztecs who knew the potential of the oil extracted from its seeds. Even in the countries of the Mediterranean basin, which started cultivating the plant from the sixteenth century, they soon discovered this precious oil which was used to heal wounds and burns and to defend the skin from the drying action of wind and of the strong heat of these areas. Prickly pear oil has exceptional antioxidant, regenerative and moisturizing properties that give it an extraordinary effectiveness, certified and substantiated by studies carried out at the University of Messina and Montpellier. It is in fact obtained only by cold pressing of the seeds and this allows to preserve its beneficial properties. It is naturally rich in vitamin E, with exceptional antioxidant, regenerative and protective properties of skin hydration and vitamin F, a mixture of essential fatty acids such as omega 3, 6, 9 with countless cosmetic properties and essential components for the proper physiology of cell membranes.
In the eco-system of the skin, the deficiency of these lipids causes an excessive loss of trans-dermal water and alteration of the hydroacidolipid mantle that results in a very dry and prematurely aged skin. Another unique characteristic of this oil is that it is sebum-similar, so the skin absorbs it perfectly. It is recommended for very dry skin, when there is dehydration due to lipid deficiency with deep wrinkles and surface cracks, loss of tone and firmness, dull complexion. It is a very suitable product also as an after-sun treatment, even in the presence of redness and erythema, in fact in these cases the vitamins E and F are fundamental to remove the inflammation.
How to use the Jamalfi body butter
Use
Use it on the whole body and in particular in the driest areas such as elbows, knees and heels to give softness and silkiness. Perfect in the winter on the hands and after a warm bath for a scented pampering Avoid contact with the eyes. Keep out of reach of children.

Advice
Apply on clean and dry skin and spread it with a wide and light massage using small circular movements from the bottom upwards to promote the reactivation of skin microcirculation.
