HELP ME! I’VE TO CHANGE MY WINTER WARDROBE FOR SPRING AND SUMMER!!!
LET’S START WITH YOUR SKIN, INSTEAD!
When Summer comes, we shouldn’t change only clothes, shoes and accessories but also a different skincare routine must be adopted.
With the approach of Summer our skin changes and it is necessary to use specific products to meet its special requirements such as temperature variation, humidity and effects of the sun.
We don’t have to upset our skincare routine completely, but it just needs particular attention to the choice of suitable products for this period of the year.
In Spring the skin starts changing. It “blooms again” becoming brighter and softer.
Let’s help our skin with a deep cleansing, nourishing and clearing facial masks and a gentle exfoliating scrub.
In Summer the skin changes its features. The cutaneous evaporation increases and, as more water arrives in the skin surface, it is naturally hydrated . But, at the same time, it produces more free radicals being far more exposed to the sun than in Winter.
That’ s why we should:
- use a cream with a light and soft texture and let stand by the winter products;
- prefer very light products or with a gel texture because they dry quickly and they don’t stress the skin sweating;
- choose products containing substances with an antioxidant action such as hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, vitamin C, ferulic acid to prevent photodamage.
There are several ways to get a smooth, healthy skin we all want in this period of the year.
Let me just give you a few tips:
- choose a fluid cream for normal or dry skin and use a non-heavy dry texture facial serum for a mixed skin;
- change your facial cleansing No more make-up butters, cosmetics with an oily texture, but cleansing gel mousse and micellar waters;
- remove dead skin cells and promote proper tissue oxygenation with esfoliation, peeling and scrub;
- use appropriate sunscreen products not only at the seaside or in the mountains but even in the city. UV rays are harmful to the skin mainly in summertime when we spend more time in the sun.
